To be eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), individuals must be:

Under the age of 65

Be Australian citizens or permanent residents, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa

Have a permanent and significant disability that impacts their daily life

Must require support for an extended period and live in an NDIS area.
